About

English:

Art Space Project is a guerrilla exhibition concept that started on the road and will always continue on the road. The project travels from city to city and invites everyone who passes by to draw, dance, sing, music. The project exhibits pictures drawn in previous cities and acquires new pictures in each city it goes to; In this respect, it is an interactive exhibition and memory archive that is constantly growing.

The Art Space Project was established by traveler Diren Demir for the first time on his trip on 20 September 2016 in the village of Çukurardıç in Fethiye. Since the first art field established in 2016; More than 30 art fields have been established in many parts of the world in cities such as Istanbul, Izmir, Akyaka, Antalya, Sazak, Cappadocia, Kayseri, Eskişehir, India / Dharamshala, Germany / Kleve, Netherlands / Amsterdam.

The main mission of the Art Space Project is the accessibility of art. On this road, the exhibition space is chosen especially as rural “village” regions where the access of art is limited or “streets” where everyone can interact in their daily routine.

In Art Space Project, which eliminates all kinds of value hierarchy of art production and set out with the belief that “everyone has an artist inside”, the work of a 3-year-old child and the work of a 50-year-old artist can exist side by side and create the same strong effect. Diren has named this concept, which the Art Space Project can go beyond the uniform corporate galleries in terms of mission and vision, as “guerrilla curatorship“.

This gallery and exhibition concept created and maintained by Diren’s Art Space Project is a research area that can provide solutions for the communication between the audience and the work, the presentation possibilities of the artwork and the commercial process of the art market.
A gallery on the move is a reflex that comes out with globalization and predicts a future that can reveal the full potential of gallery / exhibition / art institution formations. This new exhibition and presentation approach depends on the mobility of Diren and the routes it draws. Hence, all of Diren’s travels with hitchhiking turns into a performance art, and the Art Space Project turns into a living art piece itself, unlike still galleries.

he routes of the Art Space Project showcase the memory archives obtained from each city in different places, enabling people who have never seen and know each other to touch each other, communicate without words and create a collective network. Art Space Project is non-profit and all the works it owns are archived online without to be selled, and it continues to travel around the world physically.

Art Space Project’in başlıca misyonu sanatın ulaşılabilirliğidir.

2- Dünyada varlığını sürdüren illüzyonlara karsı verilen her savaş onları besleyecektir.
5- Barışı bestelemek, barışı çizmek, barışı yazmak, pozitif enerjiyi her zaman dinç tutacaktır.
6- Art Space Project bir ütopyadır, ütopyalar gerçekleşmek içindir.
7- ???

Manifest:
1- Everyone must become his own utopia. The possibility of another world will reveal its
existence in the clearest way as soon as we pass the energy into the action form.
2. Every battle against illusions will feed them. War cannot be countered by war, at which
point the art is the most harmless and most powerful weapon.
3. Art Space Project defends the view that “art is everything and everywhere” against
galleries that limit art to definitions and shape it according to the amount of money.
4- The world is an autonomous region like every other end of the universe. The Art Space
Project is an uprising against the system that is trying to make us forget it.
5- Composing peace, drawing peace, writing peace, will always keep positive energy
vigorous.
6- Art Space Project is a utopia, utopias are for realization.
